Clutch cable snapped... Yeah on my B.. I've just driven home from Newport via a48 through lisvane lanes through to Llanishen and it snapped out side the damn house... 20 miles or so.. How lucky is that...
So cars stuck out side the house now.. No idea how to replace it either

Re: Clutch cable snapped :(
There really easy to replace, just follow the route of the old one and it goes through the firewall and will come out at the pedal and its just a matter of slipping the metal end between the fork at the top of the pedal then screw the adjuster of the old one and screw it on to roughly the same place
Last time mine broke i was 10 mile from the house and had to stall and start in second at every junction, but its a 10 min job once you see where it runs

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Clutch cable snapped :(
Couldn't believe it my pedal just hit the floor Hurd a snap and my car stalled, could of been stuck in country lanes pitch black with no help.. I'm lucky it snapped where it did.
I'll go pick one up in morning there like £15-£20 ain't they? And have a go at fitting it, maybe that explains my creaking pedal past few days?.

My fella had the drive belt snap on mine whilst he was driving it, ended up ramping it straight up a kerb cos the power steering went. Luckily no damaged caused. Thankfully corsas are tanks!
