Boot lock

Boot lock

How do I remove the black plastic part of the boot lock. Took the card off the inside and there's 3 bolts. Will that remove the whole lock or just the plastic part I want. Cheers

The 3 will take whole thing off buddy. But if ya replacing the lock u need the surround off aswell :)

New problem. Got the black bit off but can't open the boot again. It's kinda locked but a bit open :/

Ok if you go from inside now trace the rod which would attach to the lock pull it that's should open the boot lid and its a badger when that happens lol :)

That looks sweet might do mine in paint tho and nice hair dryer lol i need to some more for the boot pillars lol ain't to bad only cost me £6.30 off ebay in total to do it all completely the fun is when o do the bonnet in summer lol

I paid the same, only got round to doing the front pillars so far. Carbon bonnet will look sweet! I wouldn't trust myself with that haha

Lol quick tip when u have fin so the edges don't come away use clear nail polish or lacquer behind the cover to make em stay down ;)

Pull it up or reconnect ur lock and do it that way. Remember to push the boot as well
