2nd Corsa with same problem?

First post on here and I'm looking for a bit of advise...
Had a 2000 1.2 (breeze I think?) and was driving on the motorway about 80 and the EM light came on and the car started to lose power. Took my foot off the accelerator and the light went off put I couldn't gain power and had to slow to about 70 or the light would come on and the power would drop out again. I checked the fuel filter and AFM but this didn't fix it. Did a few checks and all plugs were sparking fine. Didn't have the money to get the car looked at and it just got worse until it wouldn't go over 50 and would be very sluggish when starting.
When I finally got it looked at, one of the cylinders was completely black on the inside and wasn't running... (anyway that was scrapped)...
Now bought a 99 1.2 breeze and starting to get the same troubles. Tried to plug an ECU Diagnostic machine into it, but it couldn't read the car. Looked online and, looking at some of the diagrams of the ECU connector on the car, there are 2 connectors missing!
One thing I did notice was the throttle pressure sensor doesn't seem to run and constantly be touching the throttle itself when the throttle moves. I don't know if this is the issue or not but wondered if anyone's had similar issues? (thinking it might be a known issue if I've had two with the same?
