Corsa c suspension

Hi all

I was gonna put coil overs on my corsa b 1.2 16v 1996
As my dampers are old and done in. But a friend said I could have his suspension off his corsa c for free as he's just put coil overs on it. I've read a few posts about this and they say the back ones fit but the frout ones don't (safely). So I don't mind just doing the back ones as that's were the problem is. My question is will it make my handing worse as the corsa c ones sit higher on the back? And if I was to do them alround would I see a noticeable change in the handling of my car as they're stiffer right?

Cheers Andy.

Hi Andy welcome to the forum buddy normally to make the handling better on the car would to fit a lowering kit on it because on standard spring there is more body movement when cornering :)

Cheers for the reply. I'm not to bothered if the handling doesn't improve as long as it's safe. And of course doesn't make it worse or I will just buy the real ones. Was just wounding if I mite get a little better handling.

The higher it is the less stable its is so fitting bigger springs will add morebody roll and increase the chance of the back slipping out if cornoring hard, if you drive a lowered car and get back into a normal height car you will.find yourself spinning or losing the back end

Just looking at the corsa c set up and im not even sure if they will fit, springs look huge compared to the b, they look bulkyer if thats a word  but they dont look.like they will sit the the seat just right
