Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
Hi guys,
So I'm new to the forum.. so I thought I'd post a picture up of my new Corsa so that I can get to know some of you guys and hopefully you can give me some tips on the way..
This is the car as I've bought it. 60mm lowered, but as far as I know standard shocks, what risks does that have??
Don't know what the wheels are, but they're not in too good condition..
So my friend has offered me these MG-ZR wheels..
Which do look ok on the ol' corsa. Should I refurb the ones already on my corsa or buy the MG ones and get the done in black??
Here's a corsa with mg's on it..
thanks!

Re: Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
Welcome along mate:)
Car looks good, should back to black them arches though:lol:
The mg wheels look good on corsas imo but the center bore is to small iirc so they need machined to correct size, I'll double check this when I get a chance for you:)

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Thanks Johnny, I did read up on that same thing so you must be right. I'll leave them then as I can't be doing with that kinda mod..
Could you tell me whether it's safe to have 60mm lowering springs on the standard shocks? The more I think about it the more I want 40mm all round.. better for practicality then as well.

Yeah there half a mil to small, if you have a metal place local I'd check with them, they can't charge that much for 0.5mm

Re: Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
All novas/corsas have a 56.6 center bore the mg has a center bore of 56.1 so they shouldn't have fitted unless it was corsa steelies that were on a roverandy w wrote:No way i had a rover its steels fitted my mates corsa c

Re: Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
I'll just leave that idea out anyway.
Made a massive rookie mistake.. I got excited and ordered blue lights, neons, blue floor matts, blue stitch leather gaiter etc.. and now I've realise how bad it's going to look. Trying to send as much back as I can...

I still do that:lol: bought a yellow gaiter couple weeks ago and once it showed up I knew I'd wasted money:lol:Jackbleako wrote:I'll just leave that idea out anyway.

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one.
And thanks Andy. Good bunch on here. I'm looking at highering the Corsa to 40mm now. Need some springs!

Re: Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
Ordered this Richbrook tax disc holder in blue which I now despise. £12 it cost me!
Also, the Corsa I bought was off my mate who used it to rally around his farm, so as you can imagine it's absolutely filthy. Even the whole of the interior is covered in mud. I stopped by his garage where he works the other day and managed to get some of the parts to bring home and clean up before I get the car on my drive. These covers actually had clumps off on, and the gaitor was grey but it's all came up quite nice now.
I should be getting the car here soon so I'll get some before and after pics of it's general condition. So excited as it's my first car. Need to get my license done.

Re: Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze
Hi guys. Not much of a popular thread but I thought I'd update it anyway.
As I stated earlier the car was a mess. Very dirty inside but got it home and started cleaning it out.
Here's what the car was like..
And now!
A lot cleaner inside now. Not in any way nice and tidy. But 'cleaner' haha.
Also, I am soon replacing the pink JVC head unit with a Sony Xplod with built in Bluetooth etc. Also on order are Edge 6.5" and 5.25" speakers along with speaker adapter for front and back.
Bought the arching Edge sub and amp too so it's gonna be quite good in that department
Also, just this minute ordered some Corsa B roof bars for the rail slots off eBay. £20 with £10 postage.
Just need a bonnet bra now!!
