I have oil leaking from the oil cap onto the manifold and subsequently burning off.
I have changed the cap and i think the issue may be with the plastic ecotec cover.
Does anyone know where i can buy the little gold spacers that the bolts go into ?
Are there any other issues that may be causing this ?

Re: Oil Leaking From Filler Cap
The plastic cover can't cause a leak, there's nothing to leak out of it,
If you think it's interfering with the oil cap, pull the cover off and clean All the old oil and see if it happens again

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

What i mean is the cover acts a a spacer and i don't think it sits correctly keeping the cap tight.

The plastic cover shouldn't stop you tightening the cap tbh and it's light plastic
