Hello, I just added my new sportex 3" (2nd hand, guy had it standing for months un used) onto my corsa (1.2) and it pretty much stills sounds standard. It's not got de-cat or straight through but i thought to expect a little more umf then what i got? haha  , Does this just need run in time or is something up?

Im sure sportex give some noise when u go into the high rev side whilst driving but tbh mine ain't a sportex back box so couldn't tell ya as my 1.2 gives quite a bit ov grunt at about 3k rpm off my universal back box so urs should be better than mine with being a decent one

I found on my 1.0 that sportex are quiet until you get into the higher revs or put a straight through on it

New box's need to soot up but 2nd usually it's as loud as its going to be tbh

Saying that with a standard centre section it should get louder once it warms up

I put a sportex (mid section and back box) on the mrs 1.2 and it sounded mint. When she sold the car my bro took the exhaust and just fit the backbox and it hardly made a difference until at high revs. Fit the mid section and it sounds mint again lol
