To sell or not to sell

well for the past 6 months me and the other half have been sharing my gsi
now its time to put her car on the road. problem being insurance costs for our cars is to expensive

so my idea is get a classic car which cuts the insurance by a milestone
in order to do this i need to get rid of one of my cars

1. corsa gsi
2. s2 106 rallye

Both rare cars and soon to be future classics
in account ive had the rallye along time

I vote keep the Corsa obviously  but it'll be near 10 year's till the gsi is vintage so it really comes down to which you enjoy driving the most

Going off parts availability the corsa is the better choice as old pugs are getting very few and hard to find original parts whereas you can still get all original parts for a gsi but I imagine it won't be long before they start getting hard to get like nova parts atm as people are hoarding them before they disappear

Exactly as if you keep the pug it'll not run 90% of the time as its French and the corsa is made by the Germans which means it's better

Obviously most here are going to be bias towards the corsa same as if your on a pug forum they'll say sell the corsa

In my unbiased opinion I think the corsa would be the better one to keep

I think the pug has reached its level of popularity and will die out as when it comes down to it people are still going to want a 205 gti over a 105 rally, so thinking 5-10 years ahead I think the corsa will be what the nova is now, rare and sought after with a big group of followers

Whereas the pug in 5-10 years time I think will be near extinction and will only have a small group that want them, this means that the pug will probably be worth more than a gsi but it will cost 10x more to maintain as parts like all old French cars are impossible to find
