The rubber seal has disintegrated on the corsa we just got for the wifey. There is a puddle of water sitting in the spare wheel.
Can this be done easily or does it require some expertise, and where do I get Corsa parts from?

Not sure about difficulty but cant see it being too hard. Scrappy would probably have 1, or you could get it directly from vauxhall.

Does he mean the seal around the boot or the window seal the boot seal is normally the culprit iirc

Yea I was thinking more likely to be the boot seal

For me the seal around the rear light was bad so I sealed it up with polyeurothane sealant

Nah its def the window, the black rubber that goes around the window, at the bottom its all tatty and I can pull it away from the window itself. I will double check but am confident this is where the issue is.

Window has to come out and re-sealed, there bonded in so if it's leaking its the bonding that's gone, the rubber seal is more for look

It would be proberly cheaper and easier just to swap the boot lid if that's where the leak is coming from imo

he he, swap the lid, I like the term lid actually.
ok after allot of thinking, I have now purchased another corsa, blue, 72k on the clock, £750, it appears in better condition than the one we currently have.
The one I have is now going on Ebay. Has MOT to Aug, no Tax (ran out today!)
