i'm interested in a 1.6 gsi engine if anyone is selling one and a aftermarket ecu if you know of anyone thanks :D

A gsi engine you will be lucky to find and even luckier to get one being sold haha

And how is the gsi better than the other 1.6? Better compression etc?

Also you don't get aftermarket ecu's for these without going standalone and that costs mucho ££££

Ahh 2 or 3 bhp isnt worth the extra price people will ask for a gsi engine

From what i've read it seems that way and without bigger brakes and other stuff i think the 2.0 is abit much for daily use in the corsa

The redtop isn't that bad as a daily but its just the price of it ain't cheap tbh but for the 1.6 conversion i would proberly use a tigra one as u can use stuff u want and sell what u dont

had the Convo already with a few lads the Gsi X16Xe is 3bhp more power then the x16xe in the normal sport

yh any 1.6 engine really more bothered bout a aftermarket ecu really as i will buy a gsi as a doner ecu is bout 500 quid cant remember the make though

if you going for a redtop you need bigger driveshafts also seam weld the engine bay and engine mount brackets as they slightly different 1.6 goes straight in as i did this on my previous one
