Help required here chaps

Car feeling very hesitant and feels like something is restricting it when you drive normal

put your foot down she starts to miss like crazy like she wants to go into limp mode

No eml comes on but it think the bulb has been taken out

Well we may start with eml, when turn the ignition on does the bulb light up? If not replace it and do paperclip test to check for codes

If it's working and it's just throwing a code, check ht leads and spark plugs first

No mate it does not come on when you switch the ignition on

someone has told me maybe crankshaft sensor

The Corsa the 1.6 16v had a problem with the egr valves sticking but not in fault
I would also may be replace the eml bulb as the car needs this to complete the circuit for the ecu

i really didnt want to take the dash out to replace the bulb but im not gonna have a choice really

It won't be the egr since your car doesn't have one but it could be a crankshaft sensor

I'd still recommend getting the codes read from a garage or do the paperclip test

when was fuel filter last changed bud? had a corsa that was similar sounding to urs changed filter and was good there after. other things may be sticky injector egr spark plugs. best do paperclip test as johnny said and get bulb in,
if you just bought it chances are someone was trying to hide something,

or maybe not egr lol. did not know urs dint have one

I'd say coil pack!

I agree with Blackie, get your coil pack and ht leads changed, had the same problem on my dads vectra b, changed all that and ran like new again.
