Hey guyz/girls

I have got a 1.4 8v corsa b with a knackered engine (head gasket keeps blowing and tappets rattle like F**K), i just want to know if anybody can surgest a cheap way of getting it sorted. Will prob go for a new engine something along the lines of a 1.6 16v.

What do you think??

cheap, id say get haynes manual and fit a new engine yourself. take another 1.4 8v lump and swap them out
