Strange Problem When car is cold

Hey all,

I have a corsa B 1999 1.0L, and when I start the car in the morning, it will idle low, and sometimes when i put my foot on the accelerator, there will be no power for about 5 seconds, then it will judder allot, and the battery light will flash, then after a few minutes it runs ok.

Issues
1) Car idles low when cold
2) accelerator appears to not work for a few seconds, then the car just judders
3) if i take my foot off the accelerator the car will sometimes cut out, and the battery light will start to flash on dimly.
4) the EML is on =/

Does anyone know what could cause these issues

Is there any way to test to find out which part is causing the issue ??

You need to get any codes read that will help as a starting point
