As you all know I have a 1.6 8v engine I am half way thought re-building but was thinking could it be dropped into a 1.7 TD (W Reg) Combo van ???

I don't see why not if you did it all properly? But why would you do that?

It's a full conversion as in front to back, tank to rad
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

As johnny said its rip everything out and change to work on petrol
