Anyone know if an 8v decat pipe will fit my 16v as I'm being told I can as it's only the pipe being changed??

I think it's the same but can't remember for sure

Its the same length and shape I just can't remember if the 8v down pipes bolt on to the 16v manifold

Is the cat not part of the manifold on the 1.2 16v?

Na it's at the top of the down pipe

I'm hoping they do fit as I want one haha, I'm tryna get to the spit flames stage

Your absolutely right @johnny , however it still won't fit, if I'm right the 8v down pipe to manifold is two bolt but the 16v from cat to manifold is three bolt

Just checked my cat and it's 3 bolt and from the image and memory 8v is two bolt.

That's exactly what I was thinking but just couldn't remember if they 3 stud

looks like I'm going for a custom decat then..

Someone said a corsa c downpipe and decat would fit but would have to mess about with it?..

Just take the cat pipe off and take it to a local exhaust/garage/engineer's or anywhere that does welding and ask them to cut it out and weld a pipe in

Just gonna go custom as it would be easier for me imo haha

I made my own decat on my rover i cut the brackets off the cat then welded them on a decent pipe cost like a fiver to make from a local engineering company

Ivegot a decat for a 1.0 with the flange having 3 stud sitting in my shed doing nothing

if it goes missing I've stole it mate if your at PVS I may have it off you if it fits mine..get me a picture along with the 3 stud bit and I'll ask a mate of mine if it'll fit mine see what he says buddy

The flange is a triangular shaped peice it was made by some lad i knew, bought it for a tenner but you can have it if i come pvs its just taking up room!

Yeah it's the same flange mate, I'll have it off you if you come to PVS, hoping you do now haha
