Speaker help

I have a stereo which is 40w x 4 but I want two door speakers that are 240w.... Will this work and what are the consequences if it isn't right... Thanks

I ave fusion 400w in my parcel shelf and 50w in the front doors and mine work fine mate. All tge speakers will do is out power the stereo when the volume is crank up high mate

I have a 4x50w headunit with just two 300w max 6x9s and its fooking loud :P

I have a 1200w Fli Trap subwoofer and it drops so hard it feels like the rear windows about to shatter :lol:

it still will be loud mate it just means the stereo will start to lose power if ya turned the volume really loud

I know what you mean, i dont have a spoiler but when im going down the road with the tunes up to the last the windscreen vibrates and things look blurry when the beat kicks :lol: my numberplates shake like mad too

Again mate goes on price really. I had two 12" subs in my rover which equaled 1600 watts and that made the whole car shacked and they coat £70 each and had a 1000watt multi chanel amp which got for £50 second hand.

Easy mate one to the battery positive, one to an earth, one to the ignition positive on the stereo for the remote so it all switches off when u take the key out of the ignition
