I've got mk3 gsi astra cloth seats and want them heated for the winter.
I remember seeing somewhere a while ago something about someone puttin the element from a landrover 90 seat into the seats.
Can anyone help me put any heated element into the base of the seat.
I know I can get calibra heated leather but I don't want leather. I just want heated.
Maybe half leather heated if it's the right colour and anyone knows where I could find some.
Any help appreciated!

You can buy the heating pads off eBay and it's only a matter of sliding them under the fabric and wiring them up, I've never done it because I'd always be worried the cloth would get too hot and discolour or go hard
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Seems a fairly simple install and everything is included instead of trying to frankinstein it from a couple other cars

Excellent thanks very much!
Might consider paying someone to do this and maybe refurb the fabric and foam whilst they're there

It's worth doing it yourself unless your going to get the foam done
Seats are dead simple to take apart enough to be able the slide the pad in

I can see how to get the pad on the base it's getting it up the back am worries about damaging the stitching or not being able to restitch. May aswell give it a go though if I screw it up I'll just pay to get the whole seat and the foam redone divers side base bolster foam has seen better days anyway. Thanks for the help!

Back seats are easy. Clip at the bottom and the cloth slides up. You do however need to remove the back of the seat from the base to do it
