Hey guys,

Ive been wanting to do this since I bought my car. You know them crappy plastic pieces of trim that go around the arches etc? They make the car look crappy :) Ive just got a project pack of sanding paper from halfords, and I was just wondering if you guys could recommend which grade I should use at each stage.

I know I need to first get the orange peel effect away, then smooth it off with a less coarse paper, then primer the plastic, then wet and dry, then start adding the coats with a wet and dry inbetween each coat?

Thanks,

dan

My dad says he has experience doing it, so were gonna give it ago. If worse comes to the worse, then were gonna just go to the body shop and let them re-undo our mess :D
