Is a C16XE inlet the same as a X14XE inlet?

Hi guys,

One quick question: Are the top and bottom inlet of a C16XE(GSI) the same as the top and bottom inlet of a X14XE(SPORT)?

I know the top of a C16XE is plastic rather than a cast alloy on the X14XE, just didn't know if there are any extra ports or less connections on the C16XE?

Cheers........

It's probably a bit bigger, but I'd expect no gains from swapping them other than with the plastic inlet it would look like a c16xe

The the ports are different
If your after gains you want to get a free flow one

Cheers for the replies.

You guys know that I'm after a Lexmaul manifold.......would it benefit if a C16XE bottom was mated with a Lexmaul top you reckon?

Many thanks.....

I don't think it'll make a difference tbh mate, the ports are probably larger but not enough to notice the difference

To see a difference you should get a 1.6 head and bolt it on, retard the timing a notch or two and you'll notice the gains straight away

Edit- advance the timing not retard, that would undo the gains
