Just done so shall share how super easy this is as well as cheap and effective

1. Gather bits needed;
Plasti dip aerosol
Masking tape
Paper
Tooth pick or similar
Paper towel



2. Use the paper towel to clear any dust or dirt then mask around it leaving a gap



3. Start with a really light coat making sure so cover all the area



4. Keep building coats every 5 minutes, I did 5 coats





5. Remove masking tape and paper, be careful not to bring the paint up with it.



6. Start from one corner and the excess around the badge will really easily peel off





7. For the inner fiddly bits, use a tooth pick or something similar to break a hole and it will start to peel really easily





And the result


Such an easy cheap and good looking mod, highly recommended!!!

I don't know how long lasting spraying a badge is tho as they're pretty difficult to key for the coat

Plasti dip requires no sanding or primer. Just a clean surface.

Didn't know that! Might do my own haha

It really does seem to be amazing stuff. Used alot on alloys as you dont even need to take off the tyres lol.

Does it spray onto pretty much anything? I've got some brown leather wrapped draws I need to have black n don't want to recover them haga

I doubt leather would be suitable. I would imagine it needs to be something solid that dosen't flex.

Thought so. Been racking my brains for a few days now my girlfriend decided it was time for me to decorate her bedroom haha, thought this might work but ah well guess I'll have to recover them
