Re: Front anti roll bar
If I remember I'll find out tomorrow, the sport/gsi one is abit thicker but the rest are all one size
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Cheers mate. I know the 1l is 18mm and the gsi was 24mm I think. I was gonna grab a diesel one but if it's the same size I won't bother

Re: Front anti roll bar
The sport has one and the gsi I think maybe a few others.
They're not really anti roll bars tho as the rear suspension isn't independent. And it doesn't link to the body or chasis also I think this term has just been coined over the years. They're more of a stiffener.
If you put your head under the car running through the centre of the axle will be the anti roll bar (if there is one).
Another option if you want to add to the car is the whiteline RARB or take one from a cavalier rear axle and attached it to your own rear axle, bolts straight on. If you can get it from the cav sri or v6 is best as they were the larger diameter ones

I've just got mine from a cav sri if you want once mine has been blasted and powder coated I will make a guide so you can do it yourself? Don't know if there has ever been a definitive guide made.

Re: Front anti roll bar
Yeah pretty much. You don't always reuse the bushes or bracket but they're handy incase you want to change the way you do yours a little bit.
If you get a cav sri grab some of the front anti roll bar mounts and bushes from a corsa b a model below sport or gsi. The two roll bars are the same size then you see that's 18mm so you can use the mounts on the rear with some bits of exhaust clamp. Some people do it just using an exhaust clamp but that seems a bit half arsed for me.
If you get the v6 one youve done well only one I could find was in Ireland had to case the guy coz he kept forgetting gave up in the end don't think he really wanted shut anyway tbh..
