got a corsa sport(x14xe) an sittin in traffic d temp guage will reach 100 within ten minutes?? ne1 have dis or no a cure??

yep
it sounds like your first fan isnt kicking in !!
try this nd if it dnt work then you pobly need a new sensor

unscrew your washer bottle and turn the engine on
wait a few minutes and water should start to rise out of bottle just let it do that and you should see bubbles. keep filling it up and continuing this process till no more bubbles come up then fill it up nd put lid back on.
let it sit there nd see if the temp goes back up (past half way)
nd make sure all bubbles are out otherwise this will have no affect

Is your fan actually kicking in at all? If it is, then you\'ve not go a problem - your car\'s getting hot as it should and the fan\'s kicking in and doing it\'s job.

Just a problem with hot weather and being stuck in traffic.
No more Corsa :(

yea me fan kicks in but i had this prob b4 an it eventually blew me head gasket!! but will try dat header tank thing, cheerz!!

a possability as its not been very hot recently, check for the ol milk scum in your oil stuff, and keep an eye on your water if your losing any :)
