does a off the shelf 12\" sub box fit in the spare wheel well?

nah, i doubt it would, my 10\" \'off the shelf box\' would be too big i reckon. you\'d have to build something yourself matey

Yep it fits, i have my 12 incher in my spare wheel well, only just fits though....

if you are gonna put it in the spare wheel well, you just grind that metal bit out.
angle grinders are cheap to buy, if not you can hir them from HSS

get some kind of glue or paste and smear it

might sound bit butal but rather than cutting it would it be a good idea to just bash it flat with a hammer, cause what ever i do im gonna have to put some dynomat in there to stop vibrations.

fibre galss wont crack under the pressure us SPL boys use it to fill gaps and line the insides of our boxes
