Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Right, basically my corsa\'s Scrapyard bound in the very near future and so ive had to trek back down to sherwoods to see my uncle for a new car, on the cheap/sly

The only car hes got at the moment is a Mark III Astra \"Arctic\"

its a 5-door
1.6 8v (100bhp ive been told)
All the electrical goodies such as windows/mirrors/sunroof etc
All colour Coded
On an R-reg plate with \"low miles for its age supposedly\" (i aint seen the mileage yet)
Immaculate exterior and interior

I like the interior of the astra\'s, its just the outside is hideous and dont know if i want it.....

My uncle wants £700 for it.... Anyone think this is worth it.

My corsas got 3months left to live, but i can get some money for it if i get this astra and then sell the corsa! So thats why im thinking of doing it.....

5-door Mk3 Astra. Could be a nice project if done sensibly.

It doesn\'t matter too much with the Astra if it has two extra doors - the bodyshape is still the same, unlike the Corsa B which looks hilarious as a 5-door

mate.... u can get a corsa sri 4 that much from the auto trader thats where i got my gsi... dont turn ur back on the corsa buzz lol

...but Corsa\'s are poo lol. Admittedly the Astra\'s not much better, but fit a GSi dash, GSi exterior, lower it a bit and fit a nice set of wheels and the car can look quite tidy!

Just because I own one and have modified it doesn\'t make it good.
I\'m not that amazing that everything I own is the best in it\'s class...

Its Dark Blue, i think, not sure on the exact name of the paint. Going to see it now.

Can you get a 97 or newer corsa sri for £700 or less from autotrader? I remember looking and seeing corsas post 97 being about £2000 in there, and that was only for a half decent 1.0 12v.....

sounds a good deal, but think id save a bit more cash up and go for a 1.6 or 1.8 sport mk3 instead, can pick one up for around £1500. depning on your age of course,

X16XEL (or whatever) in the Astra is still horribly slow. I\'d go for the 1800 or just stick to the 1.6 8v.
