when u get cot speeding and u get a fixed penalty and points. when u send the check too pay the fine make it out for more than the fine [EG] if Ur fine was £40 make the check out for£45 and send it off. they will send u back a check back for the outstanding amount. rip up the check DO NOT cash it in. because u haven\'t cached it in they cant proceed with anything because they owe u money. they will fret on u with Court action but don\'t Lucien too it they cant tack u 2 court coz its them how owe u . coz of this the points cant b put on du 2 them Owen u cash. it works i have dun it [/b]

i believe this particular loophole has now been looked at by the police and they take a dim view of anyone trying it.
although it sounds a good scam, and it may have worked to begin with, you are the first person i know of thats actually done it.
how long ago did you do it out of interest?
