OK
been reading through some or your forums and now you got me thinking about upgrading my 1.2 16v to a bigger engine, possibly a 1.4 16v?
Is it worth it, is it easy, and would you go any higher??

Don\'t bother there is no point.
My mate has a standard x14xe and he hardly pulls from a x12xe.
Drop the x16xe in! lot more tuneable!

I would say that if you are thinking of an engine transplant go the whole hog and have a 1.6 or 1.8 lump stuck in there.
The difference between the 1.2 and 1.4 is not really that noticeable.
RE price. I had my bottom end knackered 1.4 swapped for exactly the same type engine and it cost me £150 for the engine and £200 to get it all fitted.
