Driving down duel carrage way near where i live doing about 70-75 and to my horror the dreaded engine management light cam on. then went off anyone ever had this before...should i be worried

my 1.2 used to do it a lot but was nothing wrong with it, she just liked to worry me every now & again! I wouldnt worry if it was just the once. If it happens more often get it checked out but could be as simple as dodgy connection in the light!

happened to me once, it turned out one of the wires on the alternator was a bit loose

could be...it just feels reall damd laggy and it holds back alot....

mine comes on every now and again...but i need a new cam shaft sensor and idol control valve so this could be the reason behind this.

was the car doing anything abnormal before it came on or whilst it was on???

sounds like the lambor senser , mine hets 2 certain rev then stops reving and just holds at the speed and the light cums on etc , is this ur prob ??
