im putting a nova gsi engine into a corsa 1.2-8v

two things worry me
exhaust the corsa has a modyfyed 1.2 system and i think he wants to keep it so will it bolt to the nova engine

also there i a 9 pin plug in the drivers footwell in the corsa, i think it 9 pin
that connnects to the engine/ecu loom
does the nova just connect to this of what i dunno
the nova engine is one with a afm i think and the ecu is in the engine bay

The nova has the loom plug in the engine bay I think.
you will need to join them up, shoudl be a simple colour matching.

To match the exahust to the engine, you need to unbolt the 1.2 exhaust manifold (cast) and bolt that on to the 1.6, this will be restirctive though, but it works, better would be to get hold of a sport 16 v system, cat and down pipe, then this bolts on to the GSi\'s 4-2 cast bit, but that\'s somethign to do later I guess.

so the plug is there its just about a meter short?
so i just extend it?

the exhaust will be the 1.2 system till we get him a sri system or similar i think

corsa engine is almost out
sleepy now

corsa engine is out

nova engine is mounted
and clutch fitted

nova engine runs as of 1 hour ago
now to tidy it all up
