will be changing the oil & filter on the 1.4

i beleive it has semi synthetic at the moment,
advice on oil type/ make/ vicosity you all use would be usefull

and the best filter (normally i use o e but these are not always the best quality!)
the car apart from road use will have fairly high revs with little farward motion to keep it cool (although the fan will come on) on the p c t\'s

i use fully synthetic VALVOLINE in the pug but its very thin when cold a bit runny for every day use / cold starts

I\'ve always used Vauxhall\'s filters and either Halfords Semi 10w40 or Vauxhall\'s equivalent.

You can normally pick up 20 litres of Vauxhall oil for less than £40 on ebay. Apparently Halfords have a BOGOF on at the moment too.
