will a cone filter not fit direct onto the end?
if so i may have a green cotton cone filter off my pug that may fit (even if temp) save you finding buying a hose

dont think so, as there is another little bit on the hose to connect a smaller pipe to let oil in i think

Those engine also had an Air flow meter on them, so not easy to plonk a cone on them, like the later DIS ones which have a map sensor instead

have you got the loom and ecu to go with the engine??
You should be able to hack up the nova air box and stick it on a hacked up corsa airbox to make a std lookign aribox, an presto nice and quiet.

yep got the loom and ecu, ideally i want an induction kit, i like the sound of them, but as you said because its got an air flow meter will it make it impossible?

Use a cone filter - airboxes are for idiots.

iv\'e got a k and n though, dont really want to be splashing out on more stuff at this moment in time, need to get a new clutch and loads of other stuff, is there any way to bang my k and n on or will it mess the air flow meter working?

Doubt it\'ll damage the airflow meter, but why skimp on parts at this stage?
