Going to make a stealth shelf as the factory one has broken, cheap crap! anyway whats the best way to make it? take the measurments, get mdf cut it too size then cover it with the material, cut holes for 6x9\'s etc?

yep pretty much, use 12mm mdf as anything less will be too flimsy but at the same time you dont want it to heavy
havent made one for my car but helped my mate make his for an escort, its all simple stuff really. show us some photos when done matey
