whyb is it in the ice section???
firstly you need to decide what kinda roads you have and if you have speed bumps or have to bump the kirb, if so i\'d go with a 40mm drop, otherwsie 60 mm

It\'s not in ICE anymore...
To start off lowering, you\'ve got two options really - go for a cheap and cheerful spring lowering kit which uses your existing shocks or spend a bit more and go for a full GMax/Spax/etc lowering kit.
The springs will be cheaper, but the full kit will give you a bigger grin with the improved handling.
You really do get what you pay for with suspension so don\'t be afraid to spend a bit more to get a premium brand.
As for fitting them yourself, yes you can but if you\'ve never attempted it before I\'d suggest watching someone else do it first.
You need the right tools, so a pair of spring clams to compress the spring before taking the shock assembly off the car.
