TNX for replies to my post. Ordered a Pipercross Induction kit today for Corsa B GSi $195 (£83). Have been quoted euro 550 for LEXMAUL RAM AIR. Is this OK?? Is fitting of either tricky??
Wallet now in bad shape. Had cambelts, pullies, oil seals, full service with plugs and filters done 2day. $A930 (£395) at Holden dealer which is an HSV service centre (check it out - Holden Special Vehicles - www.hsv.com.au - nice cars). Still, at least i got a nice stamp in service book.
Summer\'s coming down here and my GSi doesn\'t like traffic when it\'s 38 degrees. Neither do I. LOL
Air con fitted in mine, which takes even more room in that massive engine bay. NE1 got any recommendations. bigger fan/second fan mods done?? it\'s only when i\'m stuck in traffic it gets pretty warm (never o\'heated). Mate suggested smaller battery, or moving it to boot, to give engine more breathing space.

As long as your fan is kicking in, I wouldn\'t worry to be honest.
You could get a cooler running thermostat, so the fan starts sooner or wire in an override switch to turn it on when you feel necessary.
I used to sit in traffic going in an out of London and it would always kick in a dozen times or so.

^^yeah it\'ll be ok, mines always cutting in and out in the summer, the vaux temperature gauge on mine goes really hot before the fan cuts in.... but that seems to be the way with vaux. i did once see a fan switch with an adjuster on it so you could play around with how soon the fan cut in.
....i might work on making something like that myself actually
