has anyone removed the bump strips on a white corsa b?
I\'m thinking about doing this but not heard anyone do it on a white one! I\'m getting my car colour coded today, plastic bits between the bumpers and the arches and i don\'t want a horrible plastic bump strips!!!
people were complaining about having white marks left so will the while corsa be the best for doing this?
a few questions:

1. is it safe to use white spirit on the car body??
2. in the tutorials it says use a heat gun, how hot can you go before you will damage the paint?
3. is there anything i shouldn\'t use on the body of the car?

cheers!

noooo

Get sumone else to help u and get them to put the hair dryer over the badges which will soften the adhesive. Then u hold the dental floss behind the badge and the warmer the adhesive is the easier it is to move the dental floss behind the badge until it comes off.
Then Autoglym tar remover to get rid of any excess adhesive

 you\'re in for a good time!

I got a white corsa and took the bump strips off about 2 weeks ago. tried everything. WD40, nail varnish remover, wooden sticks, chopsticks, garden wire, heat gun, hair dryer. was like a D.I.Y shop outside my front door. takes ALOT of time and patience. i started at about 1 and finished just before 6. just be gentle thou - paint will just drop off. stages where i wished i\'d never started - but worth it in the end. might have to give it a good clean all over thou after cos it leaves a long clean line where u scrubbed so much. after that - SMOOTH BABY!

 good luck with it thou
