as far as brakes are concerned on a 2.0 8v conversion from a 1.2, will i need to change callipers if i want to upgrade to vented discs??

whats the best option brake-wise in general, without a rear disc conversion??

any help much appreciated!!

and also any other advice on a 2.0 8v conversion appreciated!!

forgot to say im goin to be doin the conversion from a cavvy, so i could use the calipers from the cavvy? and would standard cavvy discs be good enough?

yes you will need to change the calipers for vented discs, best bet is to upgrade the hole lot to be honest, but if you have any more question PM me cuz i have recently done a 2.0 8v engine conversion

USe the 256mm vented set up from the late GTE astra, the MK3 GSi astra, cav or cally, it\'s simple and doesthe job, and cheap £40-50 for the whole lot.

AS for the rest of thre conversion it\'s basically the same as a 2L 16v swap apart from inlet mod needed. mount hubs etc still need swapping.
