Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

I\'ve been looking to spray my door handles (color coding) but from what I\'ve read on a book I\'ve brought you have to take the inside mechanism out (only because the book was on about de-locking the car but i don\'t want that) so just wondering, is there anyway of taking the handles off without having to touch the mechanism inside?
