Vauxhall Heritage Centre Trip (56k no way)

As the heritage centre opened it doors to vxscc members, i took the chance to capture some of the finest vauxhalls on camera
VX Lightening - Vauxhall Concept.
Astra 888 Coupe.
Astra mk2 GTE, Astra mk2 4S rally car & Chevette HSR rally car.
Baby Bertha - Driven by Gerry Marshall.
Calibra SE9, 2.5 V6.
XVR - Vauxhall supercar built in 1966, although the Opel GT looked very similar, also where Vauxhall got the name VXR from for their sports range.
Silver Aero - Based on the mk1 cavalier & styled by Wayne Cherry, this supercar had a firm 500 orders placed for production however it remains the only one, it has a 2.4 turbo charged engine producing 150bhp & easily capable of 120mph+
Lotus Carlton - The Daddy of all saloons, built by Vauxhall with the aid of Lotus, this car was based on the successful 3.0 GSi, however the Lotus Calton produced 380bhp from its twin turbochargers & capable of speeds of 170mph+, this car when new cost £48,000!!!.
