I need to replace the seat belt locking clip (DONT KNOW THE PROPER NAME) - the bit that the seat belt clips into. Anyway it no longer makes a click and sometimes just releases the seat belt (obviously that\'s very dangerous). What i want to know is how difficult is it to replace as i know its connected to a tensioner under the seat, also how much for a replacement

Four bolts whip the seat out.

Another bolt seat belt clip.

You can see the pre tensior when the seat is out.

Easy.

The pre-tensioners fine, its not the seatbelt, its the little gay black and red thing it clips into. It just needs replacing. im going down to see my uncle later, see what he tells me to do!

It\'s only bolted together.

So just unbolt it.

yer its connected to the pre-tensioner, but the pre-tensioners havnt gone off. According to my mechanical friend, its a common fault on the corsa B\'s. He said just unbolt it and put a new one in from the scrappy, 5minute job he said.

If your pre-tensioners have gone off, then your going to have to replace all of it i think.... You can tell if they\'ve gone off as a little yellow tag is visible on the red and black thing that the seatbelt clips into.....
