Electric Windows

Hello people, yet another electric windows query for you all

Right, Ive read nearly every post on here and on corsasport regarding anything electric wise, to do with a corsa..... and still have a lot of questions regarding why my electric windows wont work!

Right, Ive just acquired both of the motors/arms/buttons and full loom(for leccy windows/mirrors/central locking etc etc) from an L-reg GSI corsa. When i say looms, i mean the inner looms (i.e. from the motors to the multiplug in the door, no wiring for the inside of the car.

I saw both of the windows work before i got them out of the corsa, so nothings broken on the electric loom or motors side of things.Anyway, I took all this wiring home, and took my multiplug off from my door and
plugged in the new multiplug and new wiring loom. Connected the loom to the electric motors and the turned my ignition. The lights never lit up on the button, and the motors wouldn\'t work..... I guessed id put the wrong motor on or the wrong loom or put the wrong part of the loom onto the motor, so i tryed every single different way i could and came to no avail. I kind of guessed that the button should have lit up as soon as i plugged the multiplug into my car, but it never.

My corsa incidentally is an L-reg corsa Flair, and has 9 pins in the multiplug on the car, i also have fuses in my fuse-box for electric windows and central locking (10amp fuses i think), also I may have them for other things too, just didn\'t look properly. Although my car never came with any of these fused features on it as standard, yet the fuses are still there??.

Now this leads me to think i don\'t have the wiring on my multiplug for the electric windows/mirrors etc, as I\'ve now read i should have at least 16 to be able to have the windows working.... is this true? If so, why do i have the fuses available in my car for them, but not available for other things my car doesn\'t have, like ABS amongst other things.

I\'m not fancying running new cables from my door to the car, drilling any holes, or bodging new circuits together between the door and the car. To be honest, i just want it to plug and play, or not at all! :(

Another query is, whilst running my power cable through for my amps, i found that there was an absolute poo load of wiring looms behind the grey panel that is just underneath the glove box and helps hold the tray up. So I\'m thinking, do i have all the wires there ready to do it, but there just not wired up-to the multiplug on the car side of things?? meaning i just need to wire these wires up-to a new multiplug from the gsi i got the parts from on the inside of the car? and then it\'ll be plug and play, or will i need to retrieve a full dash loom and bodge all the wires together somehow to make it all work??? :|

I\'m really stumped on this one and im going to start getting annoyed pretty quickly if it doesn\'t start working, due to the total lack of things working on my car at the moment  and also the total lack of money i have!

Also, can someone please tell me which part of the loom i will be able to use with having only 9 pins in my door multiplug (i.e. is it leccy mirrors/central locking etc).

Any help or input would be really appreciated!!

Cheers

Adam
