well, ive not been on here much, there are a few reasons for this, ive put a 1.6 gte engine nito my corsa, and had a few probs, fitted a new clutch, all was fine, until this happened:


was driving down the road, car jumpe dout of gear, and i heard a big noise, and smelt my clutch buring, got it home and took the clutch off, and it had shattered!

another reason is this:


just gf problems that though, been a busy boy lol

that clutch doesnt look new at all!!! looks well past it!!

did you replace it yourself, or get a garage to do it???

did it myself, it was new, but from what i could work out when we put the engine in there were 2 bolts missing that bolt the gearbox to the engine, and the mounts wernt aligned proper, i re aligned the mounts, and forgot about the bolts, was out for about 10 mins then it just went bang!, put new clutch in and bolted the gearbox back up properly and its sorted now, only problem i have now is that it cuts out every now and again

dent? basically had a row with the gf and i ended up takin it out on the car, slammed the door and th window come off the runners, i then booted the rear quarter panel with my timberland boots on, resulting in that, and a very scared g/f, which i really regret

anger management anyone???
