front speakers cutting out

hi all
just brought some new components they are in phase, got them all wired up last night and where working fine all low volume but when i went out i turned them up and they where fine for about 20 Min\'s but then they cut out so i turned the volume down and i heard them come back on. they are running off an amp and i was just wondering if anyone could help me

I had that happen to me before. I checked the connections and found that one connection had come lose.

yeah mine used to short out when i wound the window down, the insulation on the wires had worn and were shorting against the bottom of the window

check all your cables to the speakers and rca\'s it mite be the amp \"clipping\" the signal turn the gain down on the amp a tad see if that helps
