help with connecting minidisc changer to jvc stereo

Hi everyone, I have a JVC KD-G401 CD Player and have just bought a 2nd hand Sony 6 MiniDisc Changer MDX-62. Unfortunatly I am unable to connect the two as I have a line output where the ends are the same as the ports on back of the stereo and I have another wire which one go anywhere. I just wondered if anyone has installed this setup before and knew of any connector cables I can buy so I can then install this myself. Many thanks for any advice you have. Cheers, Lee

Yeh i got the phonex leads coming from the minidisc changer i just need an adapter to change then into pin format to connect to the back of my jvc stereo. The other cable i got coming out the back of the minidisc player i assume is to control the selection of the discs (data cable) i dont see anywhere that i cud have this going into the back of my stereo? unless the adapter i get incorporates the data cable?

I think I have seen the adapter I need, it has the 2 phonex pins on one end and the data bit on the other, and the phonex plugs into me head unit and the other connects with the data cable from the mini disc player. although I am still left with 2 spare phonex leads coming from back of the mini disc player. i have some pics for u as this mite help.

No worries dude, I am thinking of selling my stereo and this mini disc changer and getting a new stereo with mp3 where u can stick an sd card in or usb stick. will save a lot of hassle with figuring out what cables to use and compatability lol. thanks anyway mate
