Speedometer help

Hello i have got a 2000 corsa b and my speedometer as stopped working and i have searched the internet for details on it and i can not find anything about them, i havent got the manual yet but am looking for one.ppl say that it doesnt run off a cable it is done by electronic?

Is there a fuse for it ?if there is its not in fuse box because i can not see it and i have checked all my fuses.

or is it still a cable?
If there is a cable i can not see it or find it
if so can somebody tell me where it is?

Any other help would be great!

just looked in the haynes for my \'93 and its a cable in this one and iirc even the vauxhalls with digi dashes have a cable
the cable should be behind the dash somewhere its just not too clear about where it should be the only other info is about removing it from the other end.
have you tryed asking on corsasport.co.uk as theres a few more people on there

There is a fuse for it as mine my 1999 sport, has anything else stopped working? coz when mine went the engine warning light came on etc. mine ran off the same fuse as the cig lighter if that helps any

just bought a 1996 sport that has the same problem and its a cable.
