Increase the size of the air intake and location of the air feed.
Blank off the resonance chamber on the side of the airbox as it\'s just there to quieten the intake sound and doesn\'t do airflow any favours.
I cut off the two trumpet sections entering the airbox on mine, but I\'d now be inclined to keep them as they are.
Fit a Pipercross panel filter.

I have a gsi with a piper cross filter on a samco hose, Dont know about performance but it sounds meaty as fu*k! Would swap it for your airbox but i dont think the afm will marry up onto the pipework on yours will it? check my profile i dnt know how to post pics in text!

Dont fit an induction kit.
They dont like them and will kill your air mass meter.
Like joff says - remove all the twists in the airbox and drill some holes below the filter on the wing side.
Fit a fanel filter. This gives optinum gains on an otherwise standard inlet set up.

Think drilling some holes works, planning on doing it to mine when I get my new engine, had a k&n before wrecked the car and my fuel consumption rocketed.

Won\'t kill the air mass meter... anyway, where\'s the air mass meter on the Sport?

On mine its at the top of the blue hose, but on later ones its located further down by the throttle body i think.

i have actually removed the bottom cover of the airbox
its a two peice bottom so i only took of the side that sits over the inner wing and gets a good source of air and i have removed the restrictor or whatever it is out of the airbox lid it sounds very nice subtle but deep i do also have a powerflow back box which again is subtle not stupidly loud
