Hi my corsa will be on the road at 12.01 2nite,now my problem is I have a panasonic head unit that plugs streight on to cosa plug but only fits onto 2 of the 3 blocks on the car,so every time i switch off the engine the head unit has to be set up again.Which is a pain in the a**e!

tis is an easy one get you self a iso adapter lead which plugs into the iso plug on the car then into the back of the stereo (all the lead does is extend the 2 iso blocks and swaps the red and the yellow over so hu holds its settings) job done the leads are about £10 from halfords and the like

you can also get leads wot make use of the mfd ie.it displays the radio and cd info but this is dependant on your hu being compatible there around £30 - 40 tho

I do have a plug which plugs in to corsa,but on the corsa there is 3 blocks on my plug there is only two,so the mfd does not work when cd is on anyway but the head unit wont keep settings ie, bass,tre,fad,balace,radio stations

you need to swap the red an yellow over on the lead then it will hold the settings

if you have lost the date all you need to do is cut the blue wire and tape it up

on the corsa there are 3 blocks 1 is for the speakers 2.is for the power and the 3rd in for the mfd/audio controls so for a basic stereo you only need blocks 1 and 2 and dont worry about the 3rd one as you dont need it

In the past if an ISO wasn\'t readily available and I\'ve been fitting a stereo via soldering iron and connectors then I\'ve always wired up both the red and yellow together to a permanent live.
