ace! were the internals a little goosed by chance? my alt has seized... good job I\'m stripping the engine down starting next week ever wondered whats in an alternator

no it was fine..... needed the pulley off the end

a quick way of removing the pulley when i did it was to take it to a garage with air tools, took him 2 secs

try doing that when you have no car to go to the garage lol!
