Im pretty sure the 8v SRi lump is C14XE (or was is C14SE, or is that code for the single point injection engine?).
Im sure teh 1.4 8v top speed is 108mph, but i have had many 8v\'s sat on my tail at flat out speeds (112mph) with my old lump, can anyone confirm if its 108mph or 112mph as well. I know the 0-60 is around 11.5 seconds.
Im after the \"official\" stats, not Parkers stats or owner stats (like my 1.2 does 110mph etc...)

1.4 8v SRi is C14SE... 0-60 was about 10.5 (so same as 16v) but top speed of around 108mph I think book figures were for it... not sure tbh tho about the top speed, but 0-60 im sure (8v is more torquey low down, but looses it high up where the 16v gains it... hence 0-60 the same, but top speed difference when 8v runs out of puff)
C14SE - Multipoint Injection, 1.4 8v
C14NZ - Singlepoint Injection, 1.4 8v
C14XE - Multipoint Injection, 1.4 16v
Trying to find stats now... did have them in a book somewhere but not sure if I brought it uni with me...

as far as I know they was never a C14XE, but they did make the early 14Xe enigines with 8v bottom ends (excluding pistons) as the rods block casting crank and sump were all 8v items.
