need some help boys and girls

yo...
past my test on friday the 13th jan.. well happy
been looking for a corsa b, cus its the car i have wanted for a while now and just need some advice..
funds are low because new driver and insurance is going to rape me, been quoted £1300 on a 1.2 16v CLUB on a 2000 plate
didnt think that was to bad but i intend to modify my car.

there the wheels i am getting because i think they look ok and there cheap.
going to lower it 60mm and put 15\" on.. debaging the boot getting badgeless grill, piper cross induction kit, sound system and coded bumper.
give me some feedback telling me do\'s and dont please.

dont bother droping it unless your goinig for springs and dampers, springs will ruin the ride and your back! 1.2 16v lump got some potential but dont expect too much, enjoy the freedom of having your wheels, rack up a years NCD and drop in a 1.6 or 2.0. :thumbs:

Sounds like you\'ve got your plans pretty much sussed!

Get used to the car, have a bit of fun with it and don\'t get too obsessed with trying to make it much faster!
Have a play with a bit of ICE, do the wheels and suspension as planned and tidy up the exterior.

Once you\'ve built up your no claims, move on to another car or a bigger engine :cool:

yeah, was planning to get dampers as well.
not really bothered how quick the car will be, not expecting it to run 12\'s cheers for the help.
