sub or amp problem

Post by Leefantazia »

ive had my sub and amp fitted for a year now and never had any problems with it untill the other day, when i put my ignition on, the amps hp and lp settings work ok but on the full setting makes the sub bang very loud continuesly but not to the music, and when the engine is running the engine can be heard through the sub on hp and lp settings and the full setting is still banging out of control. ihope somebody can help me with this as i dont know what to do as ive checked the earth and it seemed ok as it hasnt been moved or frayed? please help

my guess would be a bad earth or the amp is fekked :)

also check none of the power cables are shorting out, when you route them poorly sometimes they chaffe and expose the bare wire :)
