get the following songs / albums
Pendulum - Hold Your Colour (album)
Ministry Of Sound - Maximum Bass (album)
These will definitely make the sub worth while, Pendulum is drum and bass, and the maximum bass is a mix of rap, dance and drum and bass and it comes with bass test things, 2 gd bass albums.

Anything with a decent bassnote ! Some funky house or trance. I personally like a bit of old school
